Meat & Potatoes Deviled Eggs (Gluten Free, Paleo)

I have to admit I’m not a deviled eggs fan, but I think these are pretty delicious. Probably because they use Primal Palate’s Meat & Potatoes Seasoning - it’s addictive.  It’s a perfect blend of pink Himalayan salt, paprika, onion, garlic, black pepper, and oregano. I made a double batch of these deviled eggs and brought them to a party. They were gone within minutes of being set out and all the kids loved them. By the time my husband got to the food table there was only 1 left!

yield 16 eggs

Ingredients

  • 8 eggs, hardboiled

  • 1/4 cup Primal Kitchen Mayo

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1 tsp mustard

  • 2 tsp Primal Palate Meat & Potatoes Seasoning, plus more for garnish*

  • 1/8 tsp sea salt

Instructions

  1. Cut eggs in half length wise and gently remove the yolks.

  2. Mash yolks with a fork or by pushing them through a fine mesh strainer with a spoon. Combine with mayo, lemon juice, mustard, seasoning, and salt until creamy.

  3. Put yolk mixture in a pastry bag or a ziplock sandwich bag with a bottom corner snipped off and carefully squeeze into the egg whites. Sprinkle with additional meat & potatoes seasoning.

Notes

*You can sub Primal Palate Meat & Potatoes with equal parts Himalayan salt, paprika, onion, garlic, black pepper, and oregano. It won't be quite the same, but it works.
