What to Expect:
Contact me (email or text is fastest - but phone works too!) to schedule a free 15 minute consult or book your initial intake session.
After completing online paperwork, we will meet for an intake session, during which I will ask you a bunch of questions to get to know you better. This session is also an opportunity to determine if we are a good fit for each other. If things align, we’ll move forward with setting goals and creating a plan for working together. If not, no worries—I’ll provide you with referrals for resources that better meet your needs.
If we decide we’re a good fit, we’ll meet regularly to work towards your goals. You can expect for me to provide you with learning assignments and resources to help continue your progress outside of sessions. There is never any pressure to complete these, but they definitely help progress.
Depending on your personal progress and goals, we may meet for several weeks, months, or sometimes over a year. Everyone is totally different! Most clients initially meet weekly, titrating down to less frequent sessions as necessary. When you feel ready to exit counseling, you’ll let me know, and we will conduct a termination session.
Clinical mental health services are only available for individuals in Florida at the time of the session.

You’re a good fit for coaching if:
You are ready to set goals and make specific changes in your life.
You like accountability and having someone in your corner to motivate and challenge you.
You are open-minded, ready to overcome barriers, and are seeking long-lasting change.
You enjoy personal growth, self-understanding, and figuring out ways you thrive best.
You need help sorting through information, making a plan, and seeing it through.
You aren’t a good fit for coaching if:
You are currently struggling with severe depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, or mood disorders.
What to Expect:
Contact me (email or text is fastest - but phone works too!) to schedule a free 15-minute consult or an initial intake session. You’ll need to complete some electronic paperwork prior to our first session.
We will meet for an intake session, during which I will ask you a bunch of questions to get to know you better. This session is also an opportunity to determine if we are a good fit for each other. If things feel aligned, we’ll move forward with setting goals and creating a plan for working together. The initial intake, visioning, and goal-setting process typically takes 2 sessions. We’ll work together to create a vision for your future, tap into your motivation, and set concrete goals.
We’ll meet regularly to work toward your goals. While coaching is collaborative, it is much more structured and present/future-focused than therapy or counseling. We’ll set clear goals and check in on them regularly, tapping into your strengths and inner resources to get it done.
We’ll typically meet weekly for a few months, titrating to biweekly until you are ready to do it on your own. At that point, you’ll let me know, and we’ll have a closing session to reflect on your progress and make a plan for making those changes stick for the long term.
Fees
60 Minute Session - $70/$90/$110
Standard sessions are approximately 60 minutes long, including ~5 minutes of collaborative noting. If you want, you will receive a post-session note with key takeaways and learning activities to help facilitate growth.
I utilize an equitable pricing model designed to make therapy more accessible and affordable for all. This means that all persons are invited to self assess their financial resources and choose a session rate that is most possible for them.
-
When choosing this rate, you are supporting redistributing wealth to the community, helping us to provide services to others below cost.
This rate is above our standard cost of services.
This is for people with greater financial resources who wish to help others on their path toward personal growth.
-
When choosing this rate you are paying the "regular" rate for services.
This rate covers the cost of providing services in a way that is sustainable to myself as human, provider, and practice.
-
When choosing this rate, you are accessing community care, mutual aid, and wealth.
This accessible rate is below our "regular" rate for services, intended for people with less access to financial resources.
We believe access to affirming spaces and mental health care should be a human right and not restricted by financial resources.

Why I Don’t Take Insurance
I don’t believe that humans should be pathologized in order to receive care, and I think our systems for diagnosis are flawed, dated, and biased, especially for neurodivergent, chronically ill, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ people. When I first became a counselor I never dreamed that insurance companies and the DSM would be dictating care, so in our space…they don’t. If a diagnosis is something you are interested in exploring, I’m all for talking about it and seeing what might fit (my autism diagnosis changed my life), but the only people “in the room” are us - not your insurance company.
Benefits of Private Pay
No diagnosis is required for services
To bill an insurance company, you must have a diagnosis and your insurance company will have record of this information. While diagnosis can be helpful in understanding ourselves, not everyone wants to go that route.
confidentiality
When billing an insurance company they have access to all of your information, including private details of sessions. Selfpay keeps your information just between us.
you are in control of your care
Many insurance companies offer a limited number of sessions or promote therapeutic approaches that aren’t tailored to individual needs. They often require a treatment plan be submitted to determine the number of sessions approved.
no surprise costs
No insurance denials, clawbacks, or service interruptions due to insurance delays. Our costs are up front and based on an equitable pricing model - so you choose the price right for you.
