Fees
60 Minute Session - $70/$90/$110
Standard sessions are approximately 60 minutes long, including ~5 minutes of collaborative noting. If you want, you will receive a post-session note with key takeaways and learning activities to help facilitate growth.
I utilize an equitable pricing model designed to make counseling and coaching more accessible and affordable for all. This means that everyone is invited to review their financial resources and choose a session rate that works best for them.
-
This rate is above our standard cost of services.
This is for people with greater financial resources who wish to help others on their path toward personal growth.
-
When choosing this rate you are paying the "regular" rate for services.
This rate covers the cost of providing services in a way that is sustainable to myself as human, provider, and practice.
-
When choosing this rate, you are accessing community care.
This accessible rate is below our "regular" rate for services, intended for people with less access to financial resources.
We believe access to affirming spaces and mental health care should be a human right and not restricted by financial resources.

Why I Don’t Take Insurance
I don’t believe that humans should be pathologized in order to receive care, and I think our systems for diagnosis are flawed, dated, and biased, especially for neurodivergent, chronically ill, BIPOC, and LGBTQ+ people. When I first became a counselor, I never dreamed that insurance companies and the DSM would be dictating and complicating care, so in our space…they don’t. If a diagnosis is something you are interested in exploring, I’m all for talking about it and seeing what might fit (my autism diagnosis changed my life), but the only people “in the room” are us - not your insurance company.
Benefits of Private Pay
No diagnosis is required for services
To bill an insurance company, you must have a diagnosis, and your insurance company will have a record of this information. While diagnosis can help us understand ourselves, not everyone wants to go that route.
confidentiality
When billing an insurance company, they have access to all of your information, including private details of sessions. Selfpay keeps your information just between us.
you are in control of your care
Many insurance companies offer a limited number of sessions or promote therapeutic approaches that aren’t tailored to individual needs. They often require a treatment plan to be submitted to determine the number of sessions approved.
no surprise costs
No insurance denials, clawbacks, or service interruptions due to insurance delays. Our costs are up front and based on an equitable pricing model - so you choose the price right for you.
